Khadejeh Nikouyeh is an Iranian American, award winning photojournalist and is currently on staff at The Charlotte Observer in Charlotte, North Carolina. She pursued a Bachelor's Degree in fine art photography at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her Associates Degree in Photojournalism from Randolph Community College. Her passion for photojournalism is in telling stories about marginalized groups that can spark change in her community. Khadejeh has also worked as an adjunct instructor for photojournalism at Randolph Community College to help educate and inspire the next generation of photojournalists because her passion for photojournalism goes beyond fieldwork.
